Before founding nextdoorVets, Dr. Ajitesh served as the Senior Consultant and Unit Head at Cessna Lifeline, Hosur Road — one of Bangalore’s most renowned veterinary hospitals. He also completed an externship at the Animal Medical and Surgical Center in Arizona, gaining international exposure to advanced veterinary practices.
His areas of clinical interest include cardiology, neurology, dermatology, infectious diseases, geriatric medicine, and exotic animal care. Deeply passionate about pet wellness and senior pet health, Dr. Ajitesh is dedicated to improving both the lifespan and quality of life of every animal he treats.
As a co-founder, his vision continues to guide nextdoorVets in becoming a compassionate, community-driven, and excellence-led veterinary destination in Bangalore.

Co-founder & Senior Veterinary Consultant
Dr. Nitin is the Co-founder of nexdoorVets and a highly respected veterinary surgeon with over 12 years of experience in clinical practice and veterinary education. A graduate of Bombay Veterinary College (2013), he completed his Master’s in Veterinary Science from GBPUAT, Uttarakhand in 2015, specializing in Gynecology and Obstetrics.
He began his career as a Teaching Personnel at GBPUAT’s Department of Veterinary Gynecology and Obstetrics, laying the foundation for a deep understanding of reproductive health in animals. In 2015, Dr. Nitin joined Cessna Lifeline Domlur (Bangalore) where he served for 6 years, followed by a leadership role as Unit Head at the Navi Mumbai branch for 2 years.
Dr. Nitin developed a strong passion for soft tissue surgery during his undergraduate years and has since honed his skills through advanced surgical workshops conducted by world-renowned veterinary surgeons. His focus lies in delivering precise, compassionate, and minimally invasive surgical care tailored to each pet’s needs.
As Co-founder of Next Door Vets, Dr. Nitin brings surgical expertise, operational leadership, and a vision to make high-quality veterinary care more accessible and personal for families across Sarjapur and Kasavanahalli.

Dr. Shanti Jha is a highly experienced veterinary surgeon with over 20 years in small animal surgery. He holds a Master of Science from Oregon State University and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Jha has served in leadership roles, including Chief of Surgery at VCA Veterinary Specialists of Seattle and Medical Director at Animal Medical and Surgical Center.
Specializing in minimally invasive and complex surgical procedures, Dr. Jha is also passionate about veterinary education and wildlife conservation.
